It just gives a whole different vibe to the space—the perfect atmosphere to grab a hot beverage, a blanket, and watch your comfort movie. That's why I decided to share my top 5 favorite lamps. Three years ago, we created this beautiful accent wall in the midst of the chaotic renovation of our kitchen. It might look like a lot of work, but it was actually very simple. The goal was to make it look and feel like the brick was always there. It took me a while to write this post, but here it is with all the information you need to get inspired to DIY. My sister-in-law and her partner began renovating their small kitchen last year. They removed the wall dividing the open concept living area and the kitchen, and took out the tiny island. Although these were major improvements, the kitchen still felt compact and didn’t meet their family's functional needs. So, when she asked me to help redesign and update her kitchen, of course I said yes.
