kids bedrooms decor updates with Opalhouse collection designed with jungalow.

As soon as I saw the new target Opalhouse collection with Jungalow, I knew right away that it was going to be good! I have been a fan of Justina Blakeney style for years, I have her two books and always find so much inspiration from her eclectic bohemian style. Her style was one of my first design inspirations when I started my instagram account. 

I wanted to make a few changes in our kids' bedrooms, new bedding for Ellie's room and a chair for the boys room. I have been in the lookout for the perfect items and this collection came out at perfect timing. So many beautiful things!

For Ellies bedroom I fell in love with this Woven Sconce, Looks perfect with the wallpaper backdrop, and the best part is at night, it gives the most beautiful glow at night. 

I also made a few updates for Ellie’s bedding. I layered these two quilts, the terra-cotta quilt pulls some of the rosy tones in the wallpaper and the scalloped design adds the playful touch in our daughter's bedroom.

For the boys, I was looking for some time for the right piece of furniture to add in a corner of their bedroom. When I saw this gorgeous velvet chair I knew it was going to be so good in there! and it looks perfect with the other colors in their room, it is also a great spot for reading. Just what the boys' room needed.

A few simple and affordable changes that made their rooms feel fresh again.
